About 2020 Postponement

Is there a refund policy for #OLR21?

Yes. Once event registration reopens in the Fall of 2020, there will again be an $85 non-refundable deposit fee. From that point on, registration cancellations will be honored as follows: All monies paid minus the deposit fee thru April 30, 2021 and 50% of monies paid minus the deposit fee from May 1 – Aug. 1, 2021. There will be NO REFUNDS after Aug. 1, 2021.

I wasn’t registered for Bring Your A Game in 2020, can I register for #OLR21?

Yes! Registration will reopen in the Fall of 2020. Please sign up to receive notifications so you’ll be first to know when it’s time to register.

I’d previously registered to attend the Bring Your A Game event in Boston for 2020 and WILL NOT be able to attend this event, what do I need to do?

We’re sorry you won’t be joining us in 2021. You may send a message via the Contact form. In the message let us know that you will not be recommitting to join us in 2021. A refund of all monies you paid (minus the $85 non-refundable deposit) will be processed within 30 days.

I’d previously registered to attend the Bring Your A Game event in Boston for 2020. If I’d like to attend this event, what do I need to do?

For now, all you need to do is send a message via the Contact form. In the message let us know that you will be recommitting to join us in 2021. We will send you a link to reserve your hotel room as soon as it’s available.

About the Event

Is this an event for authors or readers?

Both! Our primary goal is to connect readers with some of their favorite authors and possibly introduce them to new authors. The program is full of opportunities for readers to enjoy intimate time with authors as well as participate in fun activities. Authors will appreciate seeing familiar faces as well as have a couple of opportunities to participate in professional focused sessions.

What authors will be attending #OLR21?

We are in the process of confirming our slate of authors with many who were scheduled to attend the Bring Your A Game event, recommitting. Authors who would like to attend #OLR21 or future events can sign up using our Author Interest Form.

What’s included in the registration price?

Your registration will include admission to all intimate sessions, panel discussions and activities listed on the agenda; Get In the Game Sports Themed Costume Welcome Party with heavy hors d’oeuvres; 80s/90s Costume Party with a buffet meal; booksigning; tote bag; T-shirt, and FREE books!

What is the cost to attend #OLR21?

Full Registration: $290. Saturday Only (Booksigning & 80s/90s Costume Party): $100 online, $130 onsite. **NOTE: Booksigning is FREE and open to the public, but if you’re planning to only attend the Saturday events, a purchased ticket will be required to attend the booksigning AND the evening costume party.)

Can I bring my family?

Yes! This event location was definitely selected with families in mind. We’d love it if this could also serve as a vacation for you and your loved ones. When booking your room, the Disney cast member will ask the names of everyone staying in your room. It’s important to give all names if you are purchasing park tickets. However, event registration should only be paid for those adults who will participate in the event activities.

What if I want to visit a Disney theme park while I’m at #OLR21? Will there be time and are park tickets included in the registration fee?

The Coronado Springs Resort is a lovely place to spend your down time, with restaurants, gift shops and pools. However, if you would like to visit the Disney theme parks, discounted tickets will be available for all registered event attendees to purchase.

What are the room rates?

We’ve reserved a few types of rooms for this event: Standard Room with Single/Double Occupancy is $210 per night; Tower Standard Room with Single/Double Occupancy is $260 per night. First night’s deposit is due at the time of booking. (Please note room rates include airport transfers and transportation to and from all of the Disney theme parks.)

We’re heading back to Walt Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at 1000 West Buena Vista Drive, Orlando, FL 32830.

When is #OLR21?

Wednesday, August 25 thru Sunday, August 29, 2021

Is there a cap on attendance?

Yes. In order to facilitate a safe and fun environment, there will be a cap on the number of attendees. Once that cap is reached, registration will be closed.

About Transportation & Lodging

Does the resort offer transportation to and from the airport? Will I need to take an Uber, Lyft or any type of rideshare or perhaps rent a car?

We’re happy to report that event attendees will not have to worry about renting a car or using any type of rideshare for transportation to and from the airport. Walt Disney World’s Magical Express will be available to all who have booked a room at the resort. The Magical Express will transport attendees from the airport to the resort and back again. (This service is currently free of charge.) Additionally, Disney also offers transportation from the resort to all of the theme parks and Disney Springs (a shopping and eating venue).
